Three Easy Ways to Know Your Provident Fund Balance

Keeping a track of your savings gives you an edge over your financials. That said, while you can find out the balance of your other savings account, finding out EPF balance was a bit difficult earlier. However, things have changed ever since the Digital India campaign was initiated. Today, you have more than one ways to find out your EPF balance. Therefore, if you want to find out your EPF balance, you can easily do it by following any of the three ways:-

Through missed call: This is so far the simplest and cheapest option - just a missed call and you’ll get your EPF balance through text. Easy, isn’t it? It definitely is. How can you do it? If your mobile number is registered, give a missed call on 011-22901406 using your registered mobile number. The call gets disconnected right after two rings and you will receive an SMS with your Provident Fund (PF) account balance.

Through an SMS: You can also send an SMS to 7738299899 using your registered mobile number with SMS containing ‘EPFOHO UAN’ to receive your EPF balance through SMS. You can register your mobile number on the UAN portal.
